From idea to product

We carry out hot pressing of brass, special alloys and lead-free alloys
We handle different brass alloys, ranging from traditional alloys to alloys with low lead content, as well as silicon alloys.
We use bars ranging in size from 15 to 100 mm.

The idea takes shape

Design

We design the product in synergy with the customer from the very beginning, researching and maintaining the balance between performance and cost, with the support of the three-dimensional CATIA system and the FORGE pressing simulator. With the aid of rapid prototyping, it is possible to verify the results of the design in real time, resulting in a symbiosis between requirements, design mathematics and the realistic depiction of the part in resin.

Simulation
We use FORGE simulation software that can simulate the flow of brass during the pressing phase, eliminating or almost eliminating equipment set-up operations during the sampling phases. The aim is to reduce the time required to produce a new product.
Prototyping
In a very short time, we move from the three-dimensional model to the resin prototype, to allow the customer to evaluate the product as soon as possible, and to better manage further modifications and developments.

Mould making

Precision. Using state-of-the-art technology and CAD/CAM software, we design and build presses
and equipment for the final product.

Pressing

Our core business.

19 mechanical eccentric presses ranging from 250 to 800 tonnes, a 300-tonne hydraulic press and a 2700-tonne screw press guarantee a production of 50 million parts per year and a flexibility that allows us to press parts weighing from 10g to 15kg.

Mechanical processing

Maximum customisation.

To manufacture complex items we have transfer machines and machining centres with high productivity and flexibility.

Nuts and rings.

We produce about 22 million pcs/year in sizes from 3/8″ to 2″.

Finishes
and treatments

Surface finishes. We also take care of surfaces too: polishing, tumbling, sandblasting with different degrees of roughness, brass-plating.
A finish for every need.

Heat treatments.

Depending on specific technical requirements, we are able to offer heat treatments like stress relief and annealing, and provide microstructural reports, such as metallographic and dezincification analyses.

Galvanic treatments.

To complete the surface treatments and the entire production process, we cannot forget the galvanic treatments of chrome and nickel plating.
